1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account and using NoraAI, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
- You must be at least 18 years old to use NoraAI.
- You must have the authority to enter into these terms on behalf of the business you represent and to bind that business to them.
- If you are using NoraAI on behalf of a business, references to "you" include that business.
2. Description of service
NoraAI provides an AI-powered phone receptionist for small businesses across Australia and New Zealand. The service includes:
- AI call answering powered by Vapi.ai.
- SMS messaging delivered via Twilio.
- Google Calendar booking integration.
- Contact management and a business dashboard.
The service requires call forwarding to be configured on your phone so that calls can be routed to Nora.
3. Subscription plans & billing
- NoraAI offers three plans: Starter ($59 AUD/month), Growth ($119 AUD/month) and Business ($219 AUD/month).
- A 14-day free trial is available on first signup — no credit card is required during the trial.
- Billing is monthly and charged in AUD via Stripe.
- Subscriptions auto-renew each month unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- We will notify you of any price changes at least 30 days in advance by email.
4. Call minutes & SMS usage
- The Growth and Business plans include 300 minutes per month.
- Starter plan minutes are as per the current plan details.
- SMS caps apply per month: Starter 100, Growth 250 and Business 600.
- Usage allowances reset on your monthly billing anniversary.
5. Acceptable use
- You must not use NoraAI for any illegal purpose, harassment, spam or deceptive practices.
- You must comply with the Australian Spam Act 2003 when running SMS campaigns.
- You must obtain proper consent from SMS recipients before sending marketing messages.
- You must include clear opt-out instructions in all SMS campaigns.
- NoraAI reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
6. Privacy & data
Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy at noraai.com.au/privacy.
- Call recordings may be made subject to applicable laws. Businesses are responsible for complying with state-based call recording laws.
- Business owners are responsible for informing their customers that an AI may answer calls.
7. Third-party services
NoraAI integrates with third-party providers to deliver the service, including:
- Vapi.ai — AI voice.
- Twilio — telephony and SMS.
- Google Calendar — booking.
- Stripe — payments.
- Expo — push notifications.
Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. NoraAI is not responsible for outages or changes to third-party services.
8. Refund policy
- No refunds are provided on monthly subscription fees once a billing period has started.
- If you cancel during a billing period, your access continues until the end of that period.
- Refund requests for exceptional circumstances are considered on a case-by-case basis — contact contact@noraai.com.au.
- Free trial cancellations incur no charge.
9. Service availability
- NoraAI targets 99% uptime but does not guarantee uninterrupted service.
- Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.
- NoraAI is not liable for losses caused by service outages.
10. Limitation of liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, NoraAI's liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 3 months prior to the claim.
- NoraAI is not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages.
- Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Australian Consumer Law that cannot be lawfully excluded.
11. Termination
- You may cancel your account at any time from within the app or by emailing contact@noraai.com.au.
- NoraAI may terminate or suspend accounts for violations of these terms with reasonable notice.
- Upon termination, your data is retained for 30 days and then deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to terms
- NoraAI may update these terms from time to time.
- We will notify you of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
- Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
